This was a challenge on many levels – externally growing a base of customers and a base of tradespeople in a way where supply, demand, quality, affordability and attractiveness all stayed in balance. And internally, reassuring colleagues that the perennial enemy to British Gas-employed fitters could safely become part of the offer to customers, enhancing their service, the brand’s reputation, generating income and opportunities for customers to buy other services too.
