…. is at vCreate, a business he founded to provide conventional video services but got contacted by another of our Mountaineers, Dr Neil Patel, to ask whether he could help his Neonatal team create videos of the babies they were looking after and updates from the staff to share with parents and families who had to be distant at a high of high anxiety and stress. It sounds easy but it is a very difficult challenge, not least because of rules around data sharing in such a sensitive field. It took lateral thinking and serious determination, but they got there, and then found new and better ways to meet broader needs to, for example with adults, videoing seizures when they happen which in the field of epilepsy allows a medic to diagnose a condition with information normally out of sight
